Ani Fanelli's life seems perfect. She works as a writer for a popular women's magazine and, together with her editor, plans to join The New York Times Magazine, and is also preparing to marry the son of a wealthy family. One day a documentary filmmaker asks Ani to give an interview about events from twenty years ago, when she turned out to be one of the survivors of a school shooting. The young woman is once again immersed in painful memories, and her settled life begins to crack at the seams.
