20-year-old Aoi works hard in a family-run noodle shop in the backstreets of Bangkok to support her elderly father and her high-school-age sister. From her mother, she inherited a talent for handling the wok, and she has reached a certain level of mastery. One day, a certain patron invites Aoi to test her skills in the kitchen of the popular chef Pola, a well-known perfectionist and Italian.
