The North of the Great Plains, 1719. A girl named Naru, from the Comanche tribe, more than anything in the world wants to become a worthy huntress, but those close to her do not take her passion seriously. When a party of seasoned hunters goes into the forest in search of a fellow tribesman who has been attacked by a puma, Naru, an experienced tracker, goes with them and soon notices strange tracks. The rescue of the comrade goes well, but the confrontation with a wild cat does not go very well for Naru. Unwilling to accept that her brother has been recognized as the best hunter, the girl decides to track down and kill that strange predator, and she does not even suspect that her quarry is a representative of a highly developed alien civilization, who arrived on Earth in search of a worthy opponent for a fight.
