Ulysses arrives in the small town of Normal to temporarily assume the office of sheriff. The town seems safe, almost sleepy and friendly. After a bank robbery, Ulysses discovers a criminal conspiracy in which the whole town is involved. Now he must decide whether he is ready to go all the way and destroy the seemingly idyllic idyll.
