Professor Fan, an archaeologist, sets off with his students on an expedition, where they uncover unusual artifacts. The professor begins to have dreams, as if he were a general of the Han Empire, in which a jade pendant appears, resembling the found relics. Puzzled by these visions, he ventures deeper into the Ice Temple in search of an explanation.
