Meira is the daughter of one of the wealthiest families in Turkey. She received a prestigious education in the USA and decided to return to her homeland. The girl wants to earn respect in society by her own efforts and therefore takes a job at a shopping center, carefully concealing her true origins. It is here that she meets Selim, a lawyer from her father's company. A passionate romance flares between the two, ending in a lavish wedding. Five years after their marriage, the relationship between Meira and Selim has almost faded. The young man clearly sees how disdainfully his wife's family treats him, especially her mother Zuhal. Selim increasingly begins to think about divorce, and at the moment when he has almost made this difficult decision, Meira learns of her terminal illness.
