Matt Shayd was a successful hockey player, predicted to achieve great success and enormous accomplishments in the world of sports. Now he has decided that he needs to pursue something other than sports, so, together with the stern and charismatic detective Angie Everett, he sets up an agency dedicated to investigating especially challenging cases. The stakes in this new profession are very high. The main characters first try to understand what the criminal has planned, and then they strive to catch the villain red-handed. Meanwhile, Angie and Matt are completely different people. They try to learn the best qualities from each other, but their flaws often drive the heroes crazy.
