Based on real events, the drama tells the story of Janet Leigh, whose relationship with Fred West played a key role in bringing his wife Rosemary West to justice. When serial killer Fred West was arrested in 1994, there arose a need for a police interrogation under the supervision of a guardian due to his unstable mental state. By law, interrogations of incapacitated persons are impossible without the presence of a guardian, who may be chosen from the local population.
