The main heroine of the prequel will be the young Catherine Langford, the daughter of archaeology professor Paul Langford, who as a child helped find the Stargates and has spent decades trying to figure out how to make them work. Catherine is set to undertake an unexpected journey to unravel the mystery behind the Stargates and to save the world from unimaginable darkness.
