The enigmatic ninth chevron transports a team of Earth researchers to an unmanned vessel of the Ancients named 'Destiny', where it becomes clear that there is no return to Earth. The team must adapt to life aboard the vessel, which will carry them to remote corners of the universe along a course laid out by the Ancients, and perhaps come to terms with the idea that this ship will become their home and prison until the last seconds of their lives.
