Timmy Turner is a normal 10-year-old boy living with his not-so-bright parents in the provincial town of Dimmsdale. He leads a dull life, no one understands him, and his parents take a superficial approach to his upbringing, so he is watched over by a babysitter, a rude and mean teenage girl named Vicky. But everything changes when Timmy learns that his fish Cosmo and Wanda are actually fairies, a husband-and-wife pair assigned to him as magical guardians. Timmy quickly discovers that his guardians can grant any of his wishes (with some limitations).
