Seth Gecko, a bank robber, and his somewhat unstable little brother Richard are on the run. They’re being hunted not only by the FBI but also by Texas lawmen — Sheriff McGraw and Ranger Gonzales — who redouble their efforts after yet another robbery orchestrated by the Gecko brothers leaves several corpses in the bank. Trying to flee to Mexico, the Gecko brothers encounter former priest Jacob Fuller and his family, whom they take hostage and drive toward the Mexican border in the Gecko brothers’ trailer. Stopping at a small strip club along the way, they encounter a whole horde of bloodthirsty vampires and try at least to make it to dawn, not to mention destroying as many monsters as possible.
