The journalist Emma Garay becomes famous after a series of video reports on criminals who went unpunished. Emma investigates cases of sexual violence, and in order to identify the perpetrator, she pretends to be a teenage girl in a video game chat. The journalist provides the police with the collected evidence, but the police chief considers them insufficient. He demands that control over the account used to communicate with the suspected criminal be handed over, but Emma refuses. In an attempt to question one of the alleged victims, Emma is impeded by her godfather Leo Mercer, citing the protection of the victim's and her family's interests, with whom he is friends. It soon turns out that Leo works at a foundation that helps minors who have found themselves in difficult situations.
