For medical student Olivia Moore, the consequences of one of the parties became a turning point in her life, turning her into a zombie. A cheerful, active, and healthy-looking young woman began to resemble a goth—pale skin, dark circles under her eyes, and nearly white hair. She takes a job at the office of forensic pathologist Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti to gain access to the brains she now has to eat to sustain her human essence. However, with every brain she consumes, she inherits the memories of the deceased. With the help of Dr. Chakrabarti, who has learned her secret, and police detective Clive Babino, Liv begins investigating the murders.
